Growing Pains

An Alien To The Status Quo

Hello peeps, a cheery May to you!

Okay so I wasn’t exactly tagged for this but a frowny emoji on Karen’s post had her (technically) nominating me in the comment section. She’s a rule breaker, that one and now here I am breaking rules too.
She’s also one of the coolest people I have the pleasure of knowing. She’s so cool she makes ice look hot.
Check out her blog to experience some of this coolness. WunoKaren

The rules are;

1. Thank and link the person who tagged you.
2. Answer the questions asked.
3. Tag other 10 bloggers to do same.

Without further ado…..

READING ON THE COUCH OR THE BED?

Anywhere really. I’m such a reading junkie. So, at the most inopportune time I’ll be caught reading. I will be the weird girl with her nose in a book at a party.
I briefly considered joining Reader’s Anonymous then I realized that that would be ludicrous and besides, does such a thing even exist?

MAIN MALE CHARACTER OR FEMALE MAIN CHARACTER?

The right answer to this is, either. However I find myself gravitating towards female characters. The ones of these days are skilled in the art of badassery, can kick ass the way men do.

SWEET SNACKS OR SALTY SNACKS?

A little bit of both. Depends on the moods of my taste buds. These things are as moody as a teenager

TRILOGIES OR QUARTETS?

Depends on the story really. Some books are soooo good you literary want them to just go on and on (ahem A song of fire and ice ahem)…. others are meh and should have had only one book out (some Young Adult novels)

FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW OR THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW?

Well funny story, I used to find first person POV really tasking to read, which was ironic considering my go-to style in my fiction is first person. Then, this one time I found a story on Wattpad (a site where amateur writers can publish their work) and it was really good, cliché love story, but still really good and it was in first person. And I fell in love with the first person POV.
So back to the question, I guess the answer is I don’t mind. As long as the story is awesomazing

READING AT NIGHT OR IN THE MORNING?

Hihi.. Yeah anytime. I was once caught reading in the morning while I was making breakfast (I’m master at multitasking seriously, I could teach a class)

LIBRARIES OR BOOKSTORES?

LIBRARIES! There’s just something really authentic, magical and therapeutic about them. And not to mention the old book smell *sigh*.
And the treasures that can be found in libraries. Bookstores are okay but libraries are just…….sigh

BOOKS THAT MAKE YOU CRY OR LAUGH?

Books that do both.

Karen darling, I have almost all the Nicholas Sparks novels on soft copy.. anti you want to cry.

BLACK BOOK COVERS OR WHITE BOOK COVERS?

As the adage goes, Do not judge a book by its cover.
I live by this creed.

CHARACTER DRIVEN STORY OR PLOT DRIVEN STORY?

Both? I can answer that, right?

So my nominees are;
