When my heart broke
And my tears fell.
I had no one.
I was expected to move on
Let go
Be happy
Smile
Get back to who I once was
So I created an illusion
Hiding behind a facade of joyfulness
Crying when no one was watching
Drowning in pain no one understood
Hoping my heart would heal
One day…
Waiting…
To be okay
Well sister I am watching silently, and God and all of His angels are watching and you will smile again like really smile…you just wait
One day…

Healing from a heartbreak is a journey that doesn’t really have a deadline and it’s best no one pressures you into getting better because that forces you to try hurriedly bury the memories of what was and this is terrible. The best way to go about is to let yourself breakdown as much and as long as you want to. Then you should also start doing the things you love doing a long as they are not toxic.
To let go and to heal from a broken heart is never an easy thing. You just have to face the pain no matter how long it takes for you to get over it,and no matter how hard it gets. cry as much as you need until the heart feels light enough for you to move on…But in the end it all gets better.
There’s a hymn… Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Yes. I like the direction that hymn points me in.
